PTS’ Data Center Maintenance Management Software solution (DCMMS) provides a complete & integrated management platform for operational maintenance of a data center and its support infrastructure

PTS provides a first-of-its-kind Maintenance Management Software platform called the Data Center Maintenance Managemet Software solution (DCMMS). DCMMS provides a complete & integrated managed solution for operational maintenance for the data center and its support infrastructure.

The goal of this solution is to provide a best-in-class solution aimed specifically at providing data center managers with a tool to manage the maintenance of all support infrastructure within the facility. The tool helps managers properly maintain their support infrastructure by managing asset life, tracking maintenance details, preventing equipment failures, predicting equipment failures, improving labor productivity, reducing equipment downtime, minimizing investment in inventory, and lowering the total cost of data center maintenance, computer room maintenance, or server room maintenance.

The DCMMS solution allows service management personnel to create work orders all specific assets based upon manufacturer recommended preventive maintenance best practices. The work orders pull in manufacturer recommended parts lists, tasks, and estimated hours for completion. Once completed, service managers can view work order summaries and notes before closing work orders out. After completion a full history of all work orders with accompanying notes, technician servicing the asset, and other critical information is stored for use and available via reports for off-line analysis.

This new class of data center maintenance management software is available for purchase or as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. The cost of the product is based upon the number of assets under management and is tiered to support large-scale data center management operations.

The DCMMS solution provides a solution previously unavailable to data center managers for effective and efficient maintenance of support infrastructure. This is the last step in the eleven-step process for proper management of a data center.
